Steve and I would like to start the purchase process for electronics for EMCal 1/2-Sectors 1-12 or in some cases 1-64.

Based on last Wednesday's review I think we are ready to place orders for the following:

  1. Production and assembly of Signal Transition boards (205-1000-2160) with modifications as discussed (board edge clearance)  (1/2-Sectors 1-64)
  2. Assembly of Comm Transition boards (205-1000-2170B) (1/2-Sectors 1-64)
  3. Production and assembly of Comm Transition Board (205-1000-2142) (1/2-Sectors 1-64)
  4. Production and assembly of EMCal Preamp (205-1000-2120B) (1/2-Sectors 1-12)
  5. Production and assembly of EMCal SiPM daughter boards (205-1000-2130)  with modifications as discussed (changes to exposed ground),  Assembly is contingent of testing of SiPMs at UofM (1/2-Sectors 1-12)

Pending further review:

  1. Production of SiPM Flex Cable (205-1000-2135); verification of final lengths and quantities 
  2. Production and assembly of EMCal Interface board (205-1000-2110); verification of reduced connector height
  3. Production of Signal Paddle Boards (205-1000-2140/1); addition of spacing connector, boards ordered as part of cable assembly (next item)
  4. Assembly of Signal Output Cables (205-1000-2240/1); verification of lengths
  5. Assembly of Comm Cable (205-1000-2270); verification of lengths
  6. Assembly of Test Pulse Cable (205-1000-2271); verification of lengths
  7. Assembly of Power Harness Assembly (205-1000-2200); verification of lengths.
