Hi, Gabor
Thank you for the introducing the fast hadron model, which is a nice upgrade
coming to our fast simulation.
For your request on hadron shower shape, it is one of the primary goal (at
least for me) from the test beam. As you mentioned, without the final
calibration, we do not have a final hadron line shape from the 2016 test yet.
But there are three information source to get an approximate shape to start
your tuning:
1. Final 2014 eRD 1 test beam data from Oleg Tsai, which was used for our
initial Geant4 verification: see sPHENIX pre-CDR Figure 5.19
2. 2016 sPHENIX beam test full simulation:
https://wiki.bnl.gov/sPHENIX/index.php/T-1044/EMCal_good_run_note#Simulation_Expectation_2
3. 2016 sPHENIX beam test data with MIP calibration, which is histograms like
this one (blue - green):
https://wiki.bnl.gov/sPHENIX/index.php/File:T1044_2609_Energy_sum.png . It is
definitely going to change after the final calibration. (we have 700
histograms from online production QA, $$ ;-)
If you need ROOT histogram file of any of these choices, I will be happy to
dig them out.
Cheers,
Jin
