Thank you for putting together these nice slides. Few comments for your consideration: · Slide 4: we might want to show a projection spectrum for Upsilon in AA too, as it is mentioned for electron ID. On the sameline, a mentioning of Upsilon probe would be needed in page 3 to echo that. · Slide 9: another relevant nice feature on this EMCal design is Molere radius of ~2cm · Slide 11: could be interesting to mention the HCal prototype weighting 18000lb · Slide 14: right top simulation plot has the 120 GeV proton enter from the left side. Let me know if you need a white-background rendering of that picture · Slide 16 “in part due to beam energy shifts from nominal values” -> “in part due to the small uncertainty in beam energy” · Slide 24 bullet 3: good to mention it is the first test beam of full calorimeter. After improvement, we do plan to come back for more test beams.
Also few more picture in case useful for you :-) The attachments are 1. a full resolution version of the cover page picture as attached. 2. a clear version of the light guide available to replace right top picture on page 10. 3. High resolution white-background simulation rendering
Enjoy the IEEE conference!
Cheers
Jin

On Behalf Of Sickles, Anne M
Hi,
Attached are my draft slides for the IEEE meeting on the calorimeters. I intend to populate some back slides with additional plots & information, but I have a 30 minute slot (including questions) so I probably don’t have room for a net gain of slides in the body of the talk. The slides borrow heavily from talks that have been given by Craig (CALOR in May) and Jin (Caltech more recently), but include the new results for the first time.
The talk is on Tuesday morning in France so comments on that timescale are useful.
Best, Anne
