Hello all,

My apologies on the delayed circulation of this summary. However, we have prepared a summary document which discusses what was done in order to study the ring of dim fibers which arose due to thermal effects during production of blocks. It documents the various samples produced, the monitoring procedure as well as a significant selection of images for each block as well as the modifications made to the production process to prevent this problem in the future. I have uploaded the document to indico, and put a backup on BNL box.
