Hi!

The posters look very nice.  I have a couple of minor comments:

For Mina's poster:  lots of nice pictures, great!

I'd replace "ETA from -1.1 to +1.1" (in which ETA looks like "estimated time of arrival") with "η from -1.1 to +1.1" or "pseudorapidity from -1.1 to +1.1".

Instead of "Blocks absorb a particle, and then absorb the resulting particle shower", I'd suggest something like "Incident particles begin showering in the tungsten leading to light in the embedded scintillating fiber."  (I'm sure there's better wording)

Is the light transmission picture analyzed by an image recognition algorithm?  At one point I think it was - may still be true.  If so, that's a cool thing to mention.

For Mason's poster:  the diagram at the center is very catchy, nice!

To this "sPHENIX will be a detector and experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL)", you might add that we will start taking data in 2023.  I.e., this is happening soon!

Cheers,
Dave

Dear all,

Two of our UIUC long-term lab undergrads also made EMCal posters (for AUM and DNP CEU). Please let me know if you have comments (same deadline as Xiaoning's).

Dear all,

Attached is a poster prepared for RHIC & AGSAnnual Users' Meeting 2020 on the "EMCal design, construction and test beam results". I would greatly appreciate your comments and suggestions. Sorry for the late email, but if you could send any comments by 5PM EST on this Wednesday that'll be great:)

Best, Xiaoning
