Dear All,
We will have our weekly EMCAL meeting this Friday at 10:30 am EST, which is scheduled to be a General Meeting, but since we just heard from all the groups last week at the Collaboration Meeting, this week we will focus on EMCAL calibrations, along with general plans for calibrating both the EMCAL and HCAL. We heard a bit about this from Justin last week at the Collaboration Meeting but we want to start a series of more detailed discussions starting next month with a Calorimeter Calibration Workfest were we start to plan how both calorimeters will be set up with their initial operating parameters and calibrated to get them ready for data taking. I've revised the agenda for Friday's meeting to hear some initial thoughts on this from John Haggerty and Justin which is given on the Indico page: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/10608/. Any and all who are interested are welcome to attend and also present some slides.
