Dear All,
  We will have our usual EMCAL meeting tomorrow, Friday Jan 14th 
starting at 10:30 am. Here's the Indico Link: 
https://indico.bnl.gov/event/14013/ It would normally be a so-called 
General Meeting where we would hear reports from all three groups, but 
now that the block production is finished at UIUC and in China, we don't 
really need to hear reports from these groups anymore, although we would 
still like to hear about any other activities that are going on there. 
Therefore, I've left the agenda the same in case there is any news from 
these other sites.

  However, in the future, we will be changing our meeting format to an 
alternating schedule where we will have a biweekly "Local EMCAL" meeting 
where we will focus mainly on the activities at BNL, and then on 
alternate weeks, we will meet together with the HCAL group to discuss 
issues of calibration and commissioning. The days and times for the 
joint meetings have not been set yet, but they will presumably start 
sometime next week. Megan is looking at the available dates and will be 
sending out a notice to the EMCAL and HCAL lists once a day and time is 
set. In the meantime, we'll be having our normal EMCAL meeting tomorrow.
