Dear All,
  We will have our weekly EMCAL meeting tomorrow, Feb 4th at our OLD MEETING TIME starting 10:30 am. This will be for this week's meeting only due to a special meeting about SiPMs for EIC which will take place from 8:00 am to 10:00 am tomorrow. This SiPM meeting was not highly publicized but many of you may be interested in it and you are welcome to attend. It's a meeting to discuss the use of SiPMs at EIC for calorimetry and PID and will mainly focus on the R&D needs for technologies that may need improvement and synergies with developments in other areas. I'm including the link to the meeting below and anyone who is interested is welcome to join. Thank you very much for giving us your availability for the meeting. According to your vote, Friday  February the 4th from 8:00am to 10:00am EST time, works almost for everyone.
Here below is the agenda. Is up to the groups to choose their speakers. As you ca see, we expect one talk per topic and the speaker should solicit input from all parties on PID and all parties from calorimetry.
After the talks we will have 1 hour discussion with all the participants.
 
8:00-8:05 Introduction
8:05-8:35 SiPMs for RICH detectors (speaker: TBD)
8:35-9:05 SiPMs for calorimeters (speaker: TBD)
9:05-10:00 Discussion (All)
 
Each talk should focus on what we have already highlighted in our e-mail, i.e.
where we are
where the technology has to improve
what the prospects are
where we can benefit from synergies
what we need to focus on
