Hi Anthony,
So if I understand correctly, these plots are for one sector in phi (4 blocks) and the full eta coverage of 1.1 (24 blocks). The correction certainly seems to be working in that the block boundaries are smoothed out in phi, and I guess the correction didn't do so much in eta since the block boundaries were less visible even without the correction except at small eta. However, even with the correction, you can still see the tower boundaries. If that is correct, then this all looks fine, but I think you should stress with Amanda that she will need to carefully explain the geometry of the sector in her talk or the audience won't really understand where the non-uniformities were/are and how the correction actually worked.

Best regards,
Craig

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the late posting, but one of our undergraduate students, Amanda, will be presenting a poster at next week's DNP meeting. Craig requested I send the plots ahead of tomorrow's meeting, so I'm attaching a short powerpoint containing the plots she wishes to show (plus some context material). Two of them have been shown in sPHENIX meetings before (which I denote on the slides), and one I'd like feedback/approval on/for. After the meeting tomorrow, Amanda will update her poster, and I'll circulate it to the list.
Thanks,  -Anthony
