Hi All,
After our discussion yesterday about the regions with the low energy response between the EMCAL sectors I realized that we should keep in mind that the sectors are tilted in both phi and eta which should help mitigate the effect of the gaps. There therefore shouldn't be any effect of channeling for photons or even for electrons except for some low momentum tracks that may spiral into the gaps. Nevertheless, there should still be an effect of the extra material at the edges of the sectors as well as the gaps between them, but the tilt should tend to wash this out.

Cheers,
Craig

 Hi all,

Thanks, virtually everyone has filled the poll and there look like there may be some possibilities but as usual  it's not cut and dry  (actually the best looks to be Monday 11am, I will be curious to discuss this tomorrow).   So I could use some more time to perhaps iterate and choose the optimal time.   So after consulting with Anne and since the regular old time is still one of times with the least number of conflicts, we will keep the old time for one more week and meet tomorrow at 11am.  We already have one update scheduled from Apurva on the Emcal position dependent corrections, and we will have some updates, e.g. first results from the new MDC2 embed pass  pi0 tower by tower and other updates on coding/tower slope from our Ohio group.  We probably have room for one or two more so let me know if you are interested in presenting tomorrow.
