Hi Jaebeom,

Apologies up front for the 57MB attachment but I don’t know who may not have access to Sharepoint where it lives.

Attached is an introduction to Ignition, which is what we use to control LV in EmCAL and HCal among others. So this is how you get access to the GUIs unless you’re on site in the Control Room at the four large monitors on the right side of the main desk marked ControlRoom0 and ControlRoom1. In the latter case you can just pull them up there.

Enjoy!

Subject: [Sphenix-emcal-l] Question for detector control system instructions

Hello EMCal and HCal experts,

I have a question that maybe can be discussed within experts, as we are approaching shifts and we want to run the DAQ soon including cosmic data taking etc., would it be possible to make sure if we have all the instructions in place in the Run24 page?

In particular things such as turning on/off voltages chaning gain modes as well as recording temperatures to the database etc. would be useful for cosmic data taking or noise tests.

Also, if there are existing GUIs at 1008 monitors, it would be to confirm if they are still working.

Best,

Jaebeom
