Hi calorimeter calibrations folks,

You may remember there was a presentation from Itaru in this Monday’s Calorimeter Calibrations meeting about ZDC/SMD calibrations for local polarimetry: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/23655/

Just to keep everybody in the loop, I wanted to link a few followups:

As advertised, this material was further discussed in this morning's ColdQCD meeting: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/23661/

And is also in the note circulated by Devon and others on Tuesday: https://sphenix-invenio.sdcc.bnl.gov/me/requests/2050bec0-94f2-4376-8abb-dad3cdebf9e0

We expect these plots to be among those considered for approval in the GM tomorrow.

Thanks,

Dennis

Good afternoon everyone,

We'll have our next calorimeter calibrations meeting on Monday, June 3rd, at the usual time and place: 11:00AM at the following zoom coordinates:

The indico can be found here:

Currently we have ample time for contributions! Especially updates on tasks discussed at this week's work fest or ongoing work in 1008 regarding the calorimeters. Just send Blair or me an email and we'll add you to the agenda!

Best,
