Dear Blair,

Thank you very much for your email.

I have experience with offline QA for the STAR experiment, and my current research interests include Quarkonia studies and anisotropic flow. I’m also exploring the possibility of starting a new research topic. I believe that beginning with a technical task would be a valuable way to contribute to sPHENIX.

Thank you,

Hi Jagbir,

Thanks for reaching out. There are many. Do you have any prior
experience or what kind of physics analysis are you interested in
working on? It would be good to pair you with a project that you
experienced at or directly see the benefits of.

Best,
Blair

Hello all,

Greetings!

I was wondering if there are any data quality tasks for the
calorimeters
or, more generally, any meaningful tasks within sPHENIX to
contribute to
the collaboration. Usman (from Wayne State University) and I are
both
interested in getting involved.

Please let me know if there are any areas where we could assist.

Thank you,
