Hi Jagbir,

OK great.  I think I have thought of a good tak which would be helpful.

We currently have a QA website (lik below) that plots the some basic information from the calorimeter from each run.  It would be super helpful to implement a reference histogram for some of these plots.  For example, if something gets changed in the reconstruction, we can easily compare it to reference plotted on the same canvas.
Also we will be adding another set of histograms which will need plotting as well.  The QAhtml  is the cC++ ode which runs to produce what is rendered on the website.

Offline QA webpage: https://sphenix-intra.sdcc.bnl.gov/WWW/subsystem/QAHtml/mon.cgi?runselect=1
code reop: https://github.com/sPHENIX-Collaboration/QAhtml

Does this sound like something you can work on?  If so I would prefer to start a mattermost conversation.

Best,
Blair

Dear Blair,

Thank you very much for your email.

I have experience with offline QA for the STAR experiment, and my
current research interests include Quarkonia studies and anisotropic
flow. I’m also exploring the possibility of starting a new research
topic. I believe that beginning with a technical task would be a
valuable way to contribute to sPHENIX.

Thank you,

With Kind Regards,
Jagbir Singh
