Dear all,

I have modified the poster abstract so that it focuses on the sPHENIX HCal only since Ann is submitting an abstract for the EMCal.

The deadline for submitting the abstract is today.  You comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Xiaochun

Title:
Results of the sPHENIX Prototype Hadronic Calorimeter Beam Test

Xiaochun He for the sPHENIX Collaboration

A new experiment (sPHENIX) is proposed at RHIC to quantify the properties of quark-gluon plasma created in relativistic heavy collisions with focuses on the measurements of jets and upsilon states. The sPHENIX detector consists of an inner tracking system, an electromagnetic calorimeter and a hadronic calorimeter with wide acceptance coverage. This poster will present the performance results from the recent beam test of the prototype hadronic calorimeters at Fermi National Lab. Detailed comparisons with the Geant4 simulation results will also be presented.

Subject: HP2016 poster abstract - Performance Results of the sPHENIX Prototype Calorimeter Beam Test

Dear all,

I would like to submit following poster abstract at HP2016.  I intend to include both the EMCal and HCal beam test performance if nobody is going to present the EMCal result.

Your comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated.
