sPHENIX HCal discussion

Dear HCAL'ers:

    It's time that we start planning the next HCAL workfest. After some discussion it seems like the best time for this would be some time in October,  which would avoid a slew of meetings/conferences in September and still come before the rush to prepare for the next test beam.

    As our GSU colleagues will be hosting the sPHENIX collaboration meeting this fall it would be unreasonable to impose on them yet again, so we need to choose a new venue.  I can offer up Iowa State as an option - it's reasonable here in October, and travel is reasonable.  If we have the meeting at ISU it will likely need to be over a weekend as the availability of conference rooms is very limited during the week.  Avoiding the DNP October 13-16, this would leave:

Oct. 7-9, 21-23, 28-30 as viable weekends.

Another possible option would be to have the meeting in Vancouver immediately following DNP. This might simplify travel plans for many who are already planning to attend DNP, but I think it doesn't work if that is not the majority of people who would attend the workfest. (BTW, the abstract deadline for DNP is August 1st.)

If you have a strong preference or significant constraints, please let me know.  I would like to get the HCAL workfets scheduled in the next week or so.
