Dear HCAL'ers: Attached is a draft of the report from the HCAL Technical
Review held Nov. 1'st-2nd. John H. gave me the OK to share this
draft with you, and I thought it was worthwhile to have everyone
in the HCAL group see the report. The committee was very helpful and thorough, and many of
their recommendations touch on things that we need to address
before CD-1. In particular, as a result of the recent descoping
exercise we need to re-tool our simulations and presentations to
make the case for the CD-1 detector conceptual design. We'll discuss the report and plans for CD-1 preparation at
the next HCAL meeting (next week). Many thanks to all those who participated in making this
