Hello all,

We received a very useful set of comments off-list from John H. and Jin, and
have incorporated them into the updated poster title & abstract below:

Characterization of the Fermilab Test Beam Using a Lead-Glass Calorimeter

The sPHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider will
measure high energy jets, photons, and other rare processes that
result from high energy nuclear collisions to gain insight on the
nature of strongly coupled high temperature nuclear matter. A test of
the prototype of the high-pseudorapidity sections of the
electromagnetic and hadronic calorimeters was conducted in the spring
of 2018 at the Fermilab Test Beam Facility. The secondary beam was
calibrated by a lead-glass electromagnetic calorimeter, with single
electron events selected by a series of Cherenkov, hodoscope, and veto
detectors. Proper calibration of the beam momentum and momentum
spread is essential for the accurate testing of the sPHENIX
calorimeter response. We will present an analysis of the linearity
and resolution for electron showers in the lead glass detector as a
function of the nominal beam energy from 2-16 GeV and their
interpretation for beam momentum and momentum spread.
