Hanpu—MPV and low-E structure (see slides)

- MPV vs tile shape plot from previous week was scrambled; correct plots here
- T correction explained
- detailed investigation of outliers by tile shape:
  - if low/high MPV before correction, also low/high, resp., MPV after
  - not clear why PR doesn’t fix outliers
- low energy structure (from Shuhang), slide 19 f.
  - slide 20 is difference between two plots on previous slide
  - low-E structure doesn’t influence peak position (~ 1 %)

Saif--Pre-Production Re-Calibration (see slides)

Stefan—Quantifying effect of PR correction (see slides)

- subtracted RMS of PR distribution from RMS of T-corrected MPV distribution 
(after normalization), in quadrature, to get expected RMS of PR and T 
corrected MPV distribution
- compared thus-obtained expected corrected MPV distribution to actual 
corrected MPV distribution (after normalization)
- observed that the two are similar in magnitude except for:
  - shape 24 where actual is much worse than expected (shape 21 is 2nd worst)
  - three shapes (23, 26, 28) have actual BETTER than expected
- also quantified remaining dispersion as actual - expected (in quadrature)
  
Dan Lis—Cosmic trigger response in simulation (see slides)

- slide 2: R_earth must be R_earth/d under in radicand
- showing simulation results for response to cosmics trigger of whole, 
assembled HCal 
  - so different angles for different sectors
-> will be extremely valuable for comparison with future cosmics data taking
