Attendance:  Megan, Hanpu, Saif, Shuhang, Uttam, Dan Richford, Stefan

Saif—Outlier towers

- looked into tiles of outlier towers; didn’t find anything wrong with them

Hanpu—MPV analysis (see slides)

- slide 3:  corrected MPV shows systematic dependence on tile shape

  - will normalize so distributions can be compared on sector level

- slide 4: could T effects cause differences between pre-production and production?

  - Megan, Saif:  cancels out since PR is relative to reference tile; also GSU lab is climate controlled

- sector 14:  lowest MPV of all sectors; don’t know what causes this

Shuhang—Switch Upper/Lower test (see slides)

- difference has sharp cut-off around 256 (slide 5)

- could this be from some bits in ADC sometimes on randomly?

- can be tested by looking at ADC distribution for these towers in events where muon goes elsewhere

Mattermost channel—Stefan

- please join new Hcal muon calibration Mattermost channel under sPHENIX team to replace Slack channel (see Stefan’s email to the list)

- with significant progress having been made and the Hcal factory ramping up to full capacity again, propose to switch to bi-weekly meetings

- with the semester starting, current time slot doesn’t work anymore for some of us

- will send doodle poll for new meeting time
