Dear all,

For the purposes of testing offline packages that read OHCal prdfs, Martin and I made a full HCal prdf with the final packet definitions.

We took the recently recorded LED data from the west half of the OHCal (/sphenix/data/data02/sphenix/hcal/1008/LED/led-East-00001713-0000.prdf) and changed the packet ids (see below)  which created led-East-00001713-0000.prdf (same directory).

$ changeid led-00001713-0000.prdf led-East-00001713-0000.prdf 8001 8004 8002 8003 8008 8005 8007 8006

changing  8001 -> 8004

changing  8002 -> 8003

changing  8008 -> 8005

changing  8007 -> 8006

Then we merged the west prdf with the synthetic east prdf to create one full OHCal prdf, led-West-East-00001713-0000.prdf

This should serve as a test prdf for offline packages in the short term, before the east side daq infrastructure is ready to go.

Here is a useful image from Martin's previous set of slides.

Best,

Blair & Martin

All,

as we had planned, we regrouped today (and added Emma and Hanpu to the

crew) and took LED data. We also figured out the strange issue we had Friday and re-ran the pulser data. Finally, per request from Bill, we took pedestal data, low- and high-gain.

Along the way we made and ran with the final packet id assignments as they will be in the future so we can make the reco and calibration software with the right ids.

As I note in the updated slides: with a few new faces on board, we actually ran the full Run Control. With just one RCDAQ instance and the GL1/GTM in the mix, we don't usually bother, but it was good to see it at work, rock-solid.

The updated slides are in the same place/name as advertised below.
