Hi Steve,

Thanks!
Essentially anytime that is convenient for you.  Just check in with the shift crew to make sure that there is nothing special going on.  If it’s just the default cosmics data taking, they can interrupt that for an hour, no problem.  (I confirmed that with Jamie.)
Would you like to schedule this for a particular time?  Then we could just request that at the shift change meeting the day before.

Best regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

We have this remote ADC crate power control GUI in place which can be used by experts in such rare cases that a crate may need to be power cycled from outside the IR without killing the whole rack. This morning I finished testing the EmCAL and sEPD portion – tested OK.

To finish the HCal portion we would need an opportunity at the HCal group’s convenience to have Damon shut down 2E2 and connect the MegaPAC control cable there. This could take an hour or so because it requires moving some cables. Then I’d be able to test both 2E2 and 2W2.

So please let us know of a convenient time for this interruption – no rush J

Many thanks,
Steve Boose
