Dear New RHIC Detector IB Members,

Thanks for your responses to the New RHIC Detector IB First Video Meeting poll. Given your input, we will hold the first IB Video Meeting on Wednesday, August 26, starting at 9 AM EDT (US) and finish by noon. I apologize to those who cannot make it on that date and for the time, which may be less convenient for some than others. The time, of course, was set to attempt to allow attendance internationally, but of course cannot be convenient for all. You will be receiving the video link information for the meeting in email. I will also ask that those who cannot attend designate a substitute from their institution to represent them. I will ask for confirmation of attendance and designation of any substitutes a week in advance of the meeting. There is a lot to discuss and organize at this first meeting. I will propose a draft agenda a week in advance and of course you input is welcome.
