Dear Colleagues:

Please find attached a copy of draft bylaws for sPHENIX. These have been 
developed through the hard work of the sPHENIX Bylaws Committee:

 Christine Aidala, Yasuyuki Akiba, Dan Cebra, Sasha Milov, Rosi Reid and 
Gunther Roland

This was a very effective group, and I would like to take this opportunity to 
thank them both for their efforts and for the collegiality of our 
discussions. 

You may have questions on various aspects of these proposed bylaws. This of 
course is best done in person at the collaboration meeting. I may provide 
brief answers to questions posted to the list, but only on a best-effort 
basis.  We are near the end of the semester; I am somewhat saturated and 
therefore will not be able to engage in long email ‘discussions’. Other 
committee members are of course welcome to chime in as well.
