Dear sPHENIX IB,

I apologize for the spam, but I would like to follow up the previous 
email with a bit more information about the spokesperson election 
timing. As the timing is tight and we have the present holiday period, I 
solicit your feedback to my previous email (below) by Tuesday, January 5.

Voting will commence on Monday, January 11, and end at midnight (PST) on 
Thursday, January 14. Please consider Huan Huang's previous email as the 
formal announcement of the candidates. The election is a secret ballot, 
with the exception of the election committee (Huan Huang, Bill Zajc and 
myself) which will count the votes and announce the results on Friday, 
January 15. The procedure is that each IB member, who has confirmed his 
institution's membership to me beforehand, will send an email to the 
three committee members (huang AT physics.ucla.edu, 
zajc AT nevis.columbia.edu, john.harris AT yale.edu) before the end of voting. 
The vote response is "yes" in favor of the spokesperson team of Morrison 
and Roland, "no" if not in favor, and "abstain" for an abstention of 
your vote.
