Dear sPHENIX Collaborators,
As Rosi previously announced, the author list "snapshot" that determines the 2025 shift quota will be taken tomorrow. Again, please use this form to notify the Authorship Committee if anybody has departed sPHENIX or changed institutions within sPHENIX. This must be done ASAP: changes submitted after 5 p.m. tomorrow cannot be propagated to the shift quota. If a person changes from one institution to another, that will need to be confirmed by the IB member for the new institution before the snapshot deadline.
You can find the current version of the author list here. Note that the third page includes a list of authors who have departed sPHENIX. They will remain on the author list for 24 months after their departures, but are not supposed to be counted towards their former institution’s shift obligation.
Note that the Authorship Committee will not be able to process any last-minute additions to the author list before the snapshot tomorrow. You can still submit reports for new authors and we will consider them for future versions of the author list.

Dear sPHENIX Collaborators,Time is running out to request changes to the author list that will affect your 2025 shift obligation. If a member of your group has left sPHENIX (or changed to another institution) please fill out this form ASAP to notify the Authorship Committee of the change. Otherwise, you will owe shifts for that person in 2025. If a member of your group has left sPHENIX or changed institutions, please fill out this form.
If you would like to add a new author for your institution, please give a short report on their service activities using this form. Qualifying service work includes detector construction/commissioning, calibration, data production, quality assurance, software development of general utility, mentoring junior people in the performance of the preceding tasks, and service in non-technical roles required for the functioning of the collaboration. Note that shift work and physics data analysis do not count; shift work is a separate obligation from the service requirement.
If you have already submitted a report but have not heard back from us yet: we will inform you of the outcome soon.
