The experimental high energy physics group at The Ohio State University is seeking an outstanding candidate to fill a postdoctoral position working on the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider.  The Ohio State group is very active in data analyses, which include searches for new physics, and hardware projects, including the Phase 2 Track Trigger, pixel detector development, and muon detector electronics.  Candidates should have a strong record of accomplishment in data analysis and experience or interest in trigger electronics.

Candidates for the position must have a Ph.D. in physics at the time of appointment. Candidates will be expected to help mentor graduate students and should have strong communication skills and potential for leadership.

Applicants are requested to e-mail their CV and a research statement to Prof.  Brian Winer winer AT physics.osu.edu.  In addition, the applicants should arrange for at least three letters of reference to be sent to the same e-mail address.

Review of the applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
