Dear Colleagues, At the collaboration meeting at Rutgers in Dec 10-12, 2015 the IB approved the formation of an election committee for the Spokesperson election, consisting of John Harris, Huan Zhong Huang and Bill Zajc, who will oversee the election process. The IB also approved that the Ballot will be distributed on Jan. 11, 2016 and the voting will be closed on Jan. 14, 2016 mid-night, PST. Given this timeline, the nominating process will close on Dec. 28, 2015. Currently we have Gunther Roland from MIT and David Morrison from BNL on a single ticket as co-Spokesperson team candidates. The nominating committee continues to work with potential candidates and to seek more candidates. We would like to ask your help also to identify qualified candidates and/or volunteer to run in this election. This email also serves as an advanced notice to all IB members about the election. If an IB member does not receive the election ballot on Jan 11, 2016, please contact members of the election committee immediately. We thank you for your help and wish you happy holidays! Regards, John, Huan and Bill
