Dear Colleagues,
The nominating committee (NC) is pleased to announce that Gunther Roland
from MIT and David Morrison from BNL will be co-Spokesperson team candidate
as a single ticket on our Spokesperson election ballot. The NC has been
working with many potential candidates before and after the Dec
collaboration meeting at Rutgers. Only Gunther and Dave are willing to make
the commitment to lead the collaboration in this challenging period. We
thank them for their dedication to the experiment. The nomination process is
now closed.
The IB members will cast their votes for the Spokesperson election during
the period of Jan 11-14, 2016 and the ballots will be counted by an election
committee consisting of John Harris, Huan Zhong Huang and Bill Zajc. We urge
all members of the collaboration to participate in the process via
discussions with institutional representatives.
The NC wishes to thank many members of the collaboration including
potential candidates for their help in the nomination process. We are
confident that the new collaboration will take off spectacularly in 2016.
Happy New Year to All !
