Tomorrow Dave and I will have a look at possible/preferred dates for our next collaboration meeting- if you haven’t had a chance yet to participate in the poll, later today/early tomorrow would be a good time to do so.

Cheers,

Gunther

Friends,

Following the inaugural meeting at Rutgers last December, we need to think about scheduling the next sPHENIX collaboration meeting. As you saw from recent emails, we are in the process of implementing the collaboration structure as specified in the bylaws, and various workfests are being scheduled to accelerate important discussions. At the same the project is making steady progress. We feel that it will be important to get together again in a few months to take stock of developments and discuss the next steps in building sPHENIX. While it will be impossible to find dates that work for everyone, we have set up a doodle poll to accommodate preferences and constraints as much as possible:

The dates in the doodle poll are the start dates for a 2 1/2 to 3 day meeting, that would either run Mon-Wed or Thu-Sat. To get the best picture of possible date conflicts and to get a rough idea of the size of the crowd to expect, we ask that every collaborator fills out the poll, not just IB representatives. By default, the meeting will be held at BNL, unless a group volunteers steps forward to follow Sevil and Rosi's great organization of the Rutgers meeting.

Please enter your availability by the beginning of the next week, so that we can arrive at a final schedule soon thereafter.

Cheers,

Dave and Gunther
