Hello Mike,

That is fantastic news!   Congratulations on seeing this through and on being selected in this highly competitive process.  It speaks to the high quality of the proposal and the talents of the proponents.

I look forward to seeing B tagged jets!

Sincerely,

Jamie

Dear friends,

We are delighted to announce to the Collaboration that our proposal on MAPS inner tracking, "Probing Quark-Gluon Plasma with Bottom Quark Jets at sPHENIX", has been funded by the Laboratory. LDRD proposals are very competitive and we are fortunate to have succeeded this cycle. We give our deepest thanks to all of those who have supported us, both inside the Collaboration and outside it. Please share in our success today.

We look forward with excitement to the path ahead and a bright future with sPHENIX. Additional news about funding levels, project meetings, etc will be distributed when available.

Sincerely,
Mike, Ming, Pat, and Cesar
