Dear sPHENIX:

The Iowa State Experimental Nuclear Physics group has an opening for a postdoctoral position working on sPHENIX. If you know of a qualified applicant, please point them in our direction.

Regards,
John Lajoie

The experimental nuclear physics group at Iowa State University invites applications for a post-doctoral position to work on the sPHENIX experiment at Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The successful applicant will participate in the development of detector systems for the sPHENIX experiment, including electronics, simulations and test beam qualification of prototypes. The position will also offer data analysis opportunities afforded by existing data from the PHENIX experiment.  Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear or particle physics. To apply, send the following to Prof. John Lajoie (lajoie AT iastate.edu):  a cover letter summarizing qualifications, curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests and expertise, and contact information for three references. Review of applications is ongoing and will continue until the position is filled.
