*************************************************
    Dear Colleagues,
I am happy to report that we just received a
very positive Close Out report from the
sPHENIX Tracker review. For two days a review
committee evaluated our design, cost and schedule for the Tracker.
sPHENIX teams representing the TPC, Intermediate
Tracker, MAPS, simulations as well as Project Management
and the Collaboration made presentations and provided
    documentation describing our plans.The
committee's concluded that the Tracker will be able to meet
our experiment's  physics objectives, the cost is reasonable,
the schedule can be met and our technology choices are appropriate.

The review report recommendations were all reasonable and consistent
with what one would expect from a pre CD-0 project. Berndt concluded that
the committee report was as good as one could hope for a project at
    this stage.

I'd like to thanks everyone that contributed to the success of the review,
particularly all the speakers, the project team, Gunther and Dave, our
document preparers, the simulators, and members of the TPC, MAPS
and INTT team. You did great.
    Thanks.

    Ed
