Hi Eric,

I have a few comments for your nicely written talk. While most likely
there won't be many non-heavy-ion people in the room, we should at
least introduce the field and the probes for them.

Slide 2: Use Quark Gluon Plasma once to connect the audience to QGP.
Since it is a jet talk, could you add a little balloon with jets to
the right diagram?

Slide 3: Add a bullet indicating that jets are "created when a hard
scattered parton fragments and hadronizes into a spray of particles"
for the non-HI people. Virtuality and it's relationship to the QGP is
a hard concept to get in a short time. Perhaps rather than have the
left plot, add another bullet stating that jets are ideal probes
because the hard parton is created early, prior to QGP formation, and
that the yield of the hard partons should scale with the number of
binary collisions so the probe itself is well calibrated.

Slide 5: Also, for someone who doesn't already know about HF jets,
this might be hard to follow. I would pick one method only to
illustrate. Then point out that bottom quarks will decay with
displaced vertices, so with good tracking we can determine which jets
are b-jets. This gives you a lead in for talking about the detector.
You can then also point out why we care about HF jets.

Slide 8: Could you use the colorful detector again here?

Slide 12: You should probably bring it back to jets again in the
conclusion. (It may be useful to mention that the emcal+hcal improve
our jet energy scale and resolution when you're talking about the
detectors.)

Have fun at the conference!

Cheers,
Rosi
