Hi all,

My department has received preliminary approval for 2-year visiting position that would cover sabbatical leaves. This position would be ideal for those completing a postdoc and have a career goal of teaching at a primarily undergraduate institution. The best institutions often look for both postdoc and significant teaching experiences. This position would give you that teaching experience. Augustana University (SD) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics to begin in the Fall of 2017, the position is a sabbatical replacement and expected to last two years. We seek candidates who have an earned doctorate in physics, a record of successful physics instruction at the TA level or beyond, and are comfortable with laboratory instructional equipment.
