Dear colleagues!

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 5th Heavy Ion Jet Workshop and the ensuing CERN TH institute “Novel tools and observables for jet physics in heavy-ion collisions” that will take place 21 Aug - 01 Sep 2017 at CERN.

The workshop and institute aims at bringing together experts on topics related to QCD jet and jet quenching in heavy-ion as well as proton-proton collisions from both the experimental and theory communities.

The format of the meeting is divided into two stages. The first 2,5 days are assigned to the workshop, with a relatively dense programme of talks, while the remaining time is devoted to the institute, where the main bulk of the discussions will be organised in working groups.
