Hi Anne,

the slides look nice, but it would be very important to discuss the 
forward instrumentation as well. In particular, the EMCals are planned 
to be reused PHENIX PbSc with new readout and MPCs and the the HCAL is 
developed together with STAR and EIC RD with interest by RIKEN to 
construct it. That should make clear that this is not necessarily such a 
big investment from DOE.
Also, it would be good to show some physics plots for forward physics. 
Personally, I would suggest the Collins plots (azimuthal asymmetries for 
hadrons in jets) to access high x transversity and the DY signal and 
background breakdown plot vs mass.
