Dear all,
cross-posting this to PHENIX and sPHENIX because many sPHENIX
collaborators are using the service.
We have traditionally been running 2 elog servers, one for "standard"
logbooks of different shades and persuasions; there are almost 50
different logbooks.
The other one was the current Run logbook on a dedicated,
high-availability server (for Run 16 last).
Both servers had accumulated quite a number of cyber issues, and after
ITD realized that we don't do Runs any more for the time being they
demanded a fix.
So logbook.phenix.bnl.gov is now the sole logbook server, and it is a
complete new machine with the latest and greatest. No more "logbook2".
I'm just kicking of the required network scan and will then drop the
firewalls and we are fully in business again.
The server runs the latest Elog software, so we can now readily import
"traveling Elogs" such as the one we had locally at FermiLab for the
test beams.
Without any change from before, go to (easy to remember since 7815 is
the phone nr in 1008...)

Please let me know if something doesn't work for you.
Best,
Martin
