Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that following the IB vote the following
institutions have been admitted to the sPHENIX collaboration:
* Fudan University
* Institute for Modern Physics
* Peking University
* Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics
* Sun Yat-Sen University
* Tsinghua University
* University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei

We look forward to many years of fruitful work on sPHENIX with our new
collaborators!

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone for
a successful 2017, hoping that we can all get some rest over the holidays
before starting an even better 2018!
