sPHENIX is a new detector at RHIC.

The Spokesperson Nomination and Selection Committee (SNSC) solicited 
input from the Collaboration for nomination of people to stand for 
election as the next sPHENIX spokesperson on January 15, 2019. Although 
12 people were nominated, in addition to David and Gunther, none agreed 
to stand for election. Currently the only candidates running for 
election are David and Gunther as a team.

Nominations are still open until January 1st (2 weeks before the 
election as prescribed by the bylaws), if you have a name you would like 
to submit please do so before the deadline.
