Friends,

This is a friendly reminder to let us know if you will be able to participate in the "sPHENIX in Asia" meeting and workfest that will be hosted by NCU in March. The goal of the meeting is to bring together the many old and new sPHENIX collaborators in Asia, to improve the flow of information around the (sPHENIX) world and to discuss the status and plans for specific projects undertaken by local institutions.

The main part of the meeting will be organized over three days, and cover three main areas:
* Collaboration and project news, sub-detector status and plans
* Plans of the Asian institutions and opportunities for collaboration
* Workfests on electron/photon reconstruction and related physics topics and on silicon tracker construction (in particular INTT) and related software and physics topics

To fix the date and get a head count of participants, a doodle poll can be found below. We would like to fix the date before the end of the year.

Please fill out the poll even if you have previously indicated your availability so that we can start planning for the venue, accommodations etc.

As an update, we have received support for this meeting from NCU and MIT, and will be able to provide at least local support for some number of participants. Please contact Gunther for details.

We hope to see many of you at this meeting!

Best,

Gunther, Dave and Chia-Ming Kuo
