Thanks to everyone who participated in the Doodle poll! In the end, March 25-27 emerged as the favorite date - we hope that some of those who preferred the other date will still be able to make it.

We are starting to put together a meeting web page at

While the agenda is still expected to evolve, some of the meeting details have been sorted out:

* The meeting will run from Monday morning to late Wednesday afternoon

* We will make reservations for all participants in the Fullon Hotel Jhongli (http://www.fullon-hotels.com.tw/jl/) and arrange transportation to/from the meeting. For international participants, we will cover the stay at the Fullon Hotel (of course, anyone planning to find and pay for their own hotel is welcome to do so).

* On Tuesday, we will have an excursion to nearby Taipei (combined with a visit to the joint Taiwanese silicon facility at NTU for the INTT enthusiasts) and a banquet in Taipei

* In addition to the previously announced topics (EMCAL and INTT discussions/workfests, Open HF reconstruction and photon/electron ID, plans of local groups in sPHENIX), we are also planning a discussion on long-term plans of local groups regarding EIC

With the Chinese New Year's break coming up, we would appreciate if those planning to attend the meeting could register as soon as possible!

Please let us know if you need an invitation letter. In addition to providing accommodation and food, we may also have limited funds for travel support for those in need of such help - please contact Gunther for details. Finally, Saturday night stay requirements and other constraints/interests may mean that you'll stay in Taiwan for more than the meeting days. Please let us know, and we'll be happy to help with local itinerary suggestions/arrangements.
