In case you don't subscribe to sphenix-electronics-l, here is information about the workfest devoted to the DAQ next week at Stony Brook. Abhay has arranged for us to use the new CFNS room, and it should be a good time to write down the plans for sPHENIX and get them into the TDR.

The Indico agenda now has a registration option, so if you're coming, please register and idicate whether you're interested in dinner on Tuesday night:

I forgot to add the following instructions from Rob Pisani about parking permits at SBU:

BNL employees can get a free SBU staff permit to park at Stonybrook. I've been getting one for a few years. In the past, they have been sending it to me so I didn't have to make a trip just for that. The contact said it had to be picked up now. I just did it online and gave me an option to mail, so I tried it. I'll let you know if it worked. Links are below. Ann Ozelis is the contact (info in links). She can help set up an SBU ID and put you in the system as an affiliate.

Info:

https://www.stonybrook.edu/commcms/bnl/information/parking.php

Once you get an ID and are put in as an affiliate (yearly) you can go here and fill in info if mailing works.

Also, for inspiration, you can look at the TDR for the ATLAS Phase-II TDAQ upgrade:

Martin and I have conspired with the usual suspects to have a workfest focused on the DAQ and Trigger Tuesday-Wednesday February 19-20.  Abhay has generously provided us a venue at Stony Brook University's CFNS's Peter Paul Seminar Room.  The agenda page and connection information is here:

The main goal of the workfest is to collect our thinking about the DAQ part of the TDR for the upcoming review season, but it's also a good opportunity to discuss work beyond the reviews.

We welcome help from the rest of the collaboration, and we're sorry for the somewhat short notice, but if you'd like to participate remotely, get in touch with one of us and we'll arrange to time to chat via BlueJeans.

Martin and John
