Friends,

As we discussed at the last general meeting, we are planning to hold a 
week-long software and computing mega-workfest at BNL in December or January, 
in place of the usual late-year collaboration meeting. At the workfest we 
will have software tutorials for new collaborators, parallel sessions for 
various aspects of our simulation and reconstruction chain and online 
software. We will also have internal discussions regarding our computing 
plan, as well as meetings with BNL and NPPS management with the goal to 
decide on a staffing plan for critical software tasks by the end of the 
meeting. We will make a particular effort to allow remote participation, 
although as always nothing beats face-to-face discussions.
