Dear collaborators, People all over the U.S. have been setting off fireworks in anticipation of Monday's start of the 9th sPHENIX collaboration meeting! This is a purely online event that gets underway at 9am ET on Monday, July 6, and we're looking forward to having everyone connect on bluejeans and participate. Things are moving forward at a rapid pace on many fronts in sPHENIX, and the collaboration meeting is a great opportunity to get informed and also to contribute your expertise to the discussion. We'd especially like to encourage students and post-docs to participate. This might be your first sPHENIX collaboration meeting, but there's no better time than now to get involved! As a special reward, at each of the four coffee breaks over the two day meeting, we'll take note of who's connected, and then select one of those people to receive a *free* t-shirt, hand-stenciled with a specially commissioned sPHENIX design (see attached photo)!
