I was reviewing various PHENIX papers and I found one that might be of interest to a study of sPHENIX--->EIC.

Take a look at arXiv:1402.1209 A.Adare et al {PHENIX], ``Concept for an Electron Ion Collider (EIC) detector built around the BaBar solenoid" with the abstract
