Dear colleagues, 

 

We are very excited to announce that the CFNS workshop on Open Questions in Photon-Induced Interactions from relativistic nuclear collisions to the future Electron-Ion Collider  will be held online from April 26 to 28 (starting next Monday!). The workshop is to focus on recent developments and Open Questions on heavy ion Ultra-Peripheral Collisions (UPCs) from both experimental and theoretical perspectives.  One of the goals of this meeting is to provide a platform for open discussions on the interesting problems we are facing in UPCs, and more importantly, their possible solutions at near-future experiments and at the upcoming EIC.
