Hello sPHENIX,

I really didn't want to have to do this - I'm very eager to resume in-person activities.  However, COVID restrictions have made me realize that it will not be possible to have a productive in-person (or hybrid) workshop.  Lehigh has changed a lot of the requirements for events here on campus since I first proposed this in the summer, and it's not clear what would even be possible in a few weeks.  I have had people contact me who would like to attend, but for a variety of covid related reasons would not be able to do so in-person, so I think the interest for such an event is high.

Once the current wave of covid infections has decreased, we can try to plan an event here at Lehigh either for the winter break or spring, depending on what seems reasonable, since I do have funding to feed everyone and I know how sPHENIX operates.
