Streaming Readout is more than just a simplification of the detector readout with no trigger system. It is an opportunity to streamline workflows for online and offline data processing in HEP and NP experiments, and to take advantage of other emerging technologies, in particular AI/ML. The 9th Streaming Readout workshop will be hosted by Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), home of one of the most powerful supercomputing facilities in the world. The workshop will be held from December 8 – 10, although due to lab restrictions only online via zoom meetings.

The workshop will be organized in a linear track of only plenary sessions, sub-divided into 5 major tracks:

Day 1 will be devoted to updates from past , present and future experiments that are using or plan to use streaming readout
One half-day session will be on computing and data rates, including AI, machine learning, algorithms and such that aid streaming readout
Another half-day session will concentrate on talks from vendors that are developing ASICs that support streaming readout, and talks from users of these ASICs
A half-day session on Data Acquisition should feature talks on specific DAQ implementations and simulations for streaming readout
In the final session we will discuss the future and test plans for streaming readout and a summary and conclusions from the previous sessions
