Thanks to the work of Mizuki Karasawa and Tom Throwe, the sPHENIX docDB document store is secured and back in service. We decided to freeze a read-only copy of the old instance here:
https://sphenixdocdb-old.sdcc.bnl.gov/
which should have all the documents from 2015-2021, and create a new instance here:
https://sphenixdocdb.sdcc.bnl.gov/
for new documents. I added some comments about how to access, use and edit document in the Wiki:
https://wiki.bnl.gov/sPHENIX/index.php/Document_database
This may not be the last word in sPHENIX document storage, but it does provide a repository for storing documents that we wish to preserve. It's possible that new technologies will replace this in the future (it's also possible that string theory will solve physics, AI will become sentient, and this will be the year of the Linux desktop), but for now you should be able to add new documents to https://sphenixdocdb.sdcc.bnl.gov/.
